About a year ago I went through the process of converting a rom hack of FR into a 3DS .cia that always gives a shiny starter, is there any way I can find out, or would someone happen to know if this would effect finding shinies in the wild? I want to shiny hunt a specific pokemon but don't want to do it for nothing :/
I would just re-edit the rom to get what I want faster (I changed a couple items @ marts, beginner zone trash into all starters), but I have none of the tools anymore, not for the rom edit, not for the cia conversion..don't mind the grind if it's worth it. I've changed all route 2 pokemon into mew, so I'm running into it 100% of the time and moving faster than otherwise possible (the pokedex even shows its location @ route2 instead of "unknown"!)
