Excellent - I was not sure. I know the game right now is wanting me to sign into PSN and upgrade but if I upgrade I will not be able to JB

Right. Just dont sign into PSN and upgrade. Just play it without a upgrade until someone upgrade it with fpkg.

Once I JB - just play it off the disc like normal?

I am currently not JB and when I launch the game it is telling me that I am unable to play without signing into PSN

Wait a minute... If it is online only such as multiplayer then you cannot playing it at all, I think.

You need a PS4 JB 5.05 to play backup games such as fpkg games only.

If the game asks you to sign into PSN, you can't. Not without updating past 5.05 (which would mean no more jailbreak for youuuu).

Also, you might be able to run the game (as in, boot it up, until the main menu, where it asks you to sign into PSN), but you won't be able to play it. Same thing with "Need For Speed" (2015).

I'm a bit surprised that some people don't know this. Don't pirate games to play online, dumbass.

I purchased a retail copy of the game, and I have not yet JB my PS4. Still weighing the options.

Any game that requires 5.5x: nope

All games up to 5.05 that don’t need online: yup
