Homebrew question about phbank/savedatatools

just wanted to ask if I could back up my save data with svdt, restart my save file of Y/OR and when I'm done get my old file back with everything (including battle spot ranking) intact. Also, can i put pokemon on phbank, restart my game, and pick them up again afterwards?
