Hacking Question about OPENDNS blocking

Hi, I've just bought WiiU and wanna block Ninty's servers on console via OPENDNS.

I've setup the OPEN DNS to block this adresses:

c.shop.nintendowifi.net
ccs.wup.shop.nintendo.net
ecs.wup.shop.nintendo.net
ias.wup.shop.nintendo.net
nus.c.shop.nintendowifi.net
nus.cdn.c.shop.nintendowifi.net
nus.cdn.shop.wii.com
nus.cdn.wup.shop.nintendo.net
nus.wup.shop.nintendo.net
tagaya.wup.shop.nintendo.net

WiiU will arrive on monday, but I wanna setup this first.

I've tested it on my 3DS (10.3) but it doesnot block the ESHOP access (yes I've set the DNS'es).

What I am doing wrong please help me on this matter

If your like me and tried setting the DNS redirect on your router expecting to to affect the devices on the network that won't work. You have to set the DNS ips on the 3ds itself. Also you IP is probably dynaic like most people's, make sure you download the DNS updater and install it on every pc in your house for the best to keep opendns account accurate.

I personally use opendns myself but everyone else hates it. Just use tubehax instead.

I know that TubeHax server is working but IDK why my OPENDNS isn't blocking :/
