Recently I tried signing in to COD:WaW and after maybe 3 tries i got in, now i was wondering something, i rented this game at blockbuster and ripped the iso and made a copy of my own, so i started thinking that, what if the same applys for computer games? You know how if someone has the same cd key as you you can't play online? So i thought maybe someone else rented the game and since its the exact same copy the servers see two copys running online and kicks one off.. Could this be why? I was just wondering, the game ids are the same since they mine is an exact copy.

Anyone care to help me out?

Known issue, has nothing to do with what you are thinking. The wii servers tend to get clogged, and when running a backup you can encounter time outs waiting for data to load due to the 3x instead of 6x speed. More info can be found with the all powerful search button.

Wii games aren't unique and don't have a CD key or anything because it would be very expensive to do etc
