I since updated my switch via Choi from 7.0.1 to 8.1.0 auto RCM'ed it too no fuse burnt, now i wanted to make a nand backup of 810 would it be a legit nand backup that i could use for things like restoring or would it be still considered a 701 nand because of no burnt fuse. I do have FW701 backup though obviously.
Interesting idea but from what I have gathered reading about Emunand and nand combinations this can't work. Your backup of a updated nand using Choidujour-nx has tainted the nand itself. As such, there is a good possibility that should you use a backup of this nand as "legit" to go online using Nintendo's servers, they will flag it and you will get banned. The fact that you ran CFW and then Choi left traces on your nand, so the backup is dirty.
The best and only way to get around this, as far as I know is to have a backup of a clean Nand were you never ran any CFW or homebrew (fuses burnt according to the firmware you are on, no NSPs, etc...) You can then use that backup. You MUST then update using the settings menu and using nintendo's services, thereby burning your fuses. In the mean time, for emunand, you can update or not using choi... fuses don't matter in emmunand to be honest...
So in short, the choice is the following:
update switch prperly for real nand, keep emmunand offline at all times or use icognito 90ds
don't update switch properly for real nand, never go online or risk getting seriously banned.
Anyone who is more in the know can correct me if I a wrong. I am far from an expert here.
