How can you install DLC if you use an original Disc?
I want to get the Smash DLC, can you install them via kernel exploit?

Well that all depends on what firmware you have.

But yes you can. 5.5.1 just go online and update. There is no newer firmware as of the time of this post. If you're lower than that youll need to use wup installer to spoof. Then use NNU patcher and to go on eshop and get your DLC.

I think he might have wanted a way to get them for free?

If that's the case then no, afaik there is no way of getting the dlc for free except for putting them in the update folder in loadiine

If you mean getting it free and using it on the original disc, you would need to find the patch for it and use SD Cafiine. I tested this in firmware 5.5.1

You can't get them for free, but if you own the DLC just use WUPInstaller.
