No but interesting concept. Turning down brightness and putting airplane mode on is the best way to preserve battery.

nope that isnt possible if u end the Homebrew then the Homebrew cant run in background.

I'm thinking you'd need cheat-codes/patches for each individual game to make them use a different resolution. Not sure it would be worth it.
