i just got a Sky3DS and had a question about rom id headers.

I do not play any games online. Strictly offline play only. Never really was into playing against other people... So with that in mind, do I need to worry about any of the games/roms I have and their id headers?

Or is the whole banning issue stem from trying to play online games with those "generic" headers?

U are pretty right.

just keep the offline switch off, dont enter online multiplayer and u will be fine.

If u want though, u can do with a private header

It's exactly as you say, the issue is connecting online through the game (you can still pull up the eShop or such with the cart in, just don't choose to go online in game) with the template's default header.
If you never connect, or connect in CIA/eShop/legit cart games only, you're golden.

Got it. Had planned on shutting OFF the wifi when the Sky3DS was in the console. That way I am sure nothing bad will happen.

But, you say it is ok to use eShop and the browser even with Sky3DS in... Just DO NOT go online within a game itself. Sound about right?

Awesome. Thanks for the info everyone.

Oh, is there a good guide on how to do private headers? Is it difficult to do?

But u must be on a fw equal or below to 9.2 otherwise is impossible to u to dump ur own ph all by yourself

Making private headers seems like a pain in the butt. Don't even think I will attempt it... Since I really don't plan on playing any games online. I am more of a single player by myself kinda person. But, to each and their own as they say.
