Homebrew question about DScent

i want to get DScent running on my Acekard 2i.

apparently i need a registered copy of Descent.

Good Old Games has the original games for $6 each, which is fine, but will those game files work?

Also, does DScent work with Descent 1, 2, and 3?

Not sure about the first question, but DScent only supports part 1 of the series. It plays quite well though.
