Hacking Question about .cia to .3ds

Do I have to create xorpads for every game i want?

haha yeah it can take a while... BUT here is a way to do more than one at once

Say you have i dunno 10 roms you wanna convert, drag and drop ALL OF THEM at the same time together on to ctrKeyGen.py to create ncchinfo.bin as you normally would with one.

Then continue the rest of the procedure, putting ncchinfo.bin on sd card etc etc. It'll still take forever but atleast you can do more than one at a time, assuming your sd card is big enough.

Is there a complete guide for this? I tried searching but i only get guides for .3ds to .cia, not the other way around

long answer - it depends on the cia. but usually yes.

Hmm i only just noticed it had cia to 3ds in the title.

I think they meant the other way around though (3ds to cia).

Yeah i actually prefer 3ds and 3dz files, because their saves are just a .sav file on the SD card and it's very easy to move around

Yeah some cia games can be a pain in the arse... I'm looking at you pokemon! Unless you don't do any editing then it's fine i guess. I just play that as 3dz now cause the cia version gave me a headache. haha

Yeah just make sure you have enough space on your sd card for each game plus a bit of extra breathing room
