Hacking Question about cheat.dat file.

anyone have like an ultimate cheat.dat or know where to get one with like every current AC code on there? Sorry if it's a stupid question, but i thought i'd try my luck.

At the R4 site, they did release an updated cheat.dat file shortly after the firmware was released. Did you try that? I don't know if it has ALL the latest codes, but more than the original cheat.dat in the firmware files anyway.

You do know you can create your own cheat file for the R4 to add any missing codes, right? The R4 site has all the files you need for that....except the codes themselves of course.

But if someone DOES have an "ultimate" cheat.dat, I'd be interested too, as I'm sure most everyone with an R4 would be.

yer i saw that a while ago but didn't bother downloading, but now i can't find it, you sure it's still there?

also yes i'm aware i can make my own codes but i really can't be bothered lol, i was hoping someone allready made one, guess i'll just do it myself anyways.

How to use the cheat function??

well if you have thel atest firmware it should come with a cheat.dat file and basically when you have a game on your R4 that supports cheats in that file (or you can add your own if it doesn't allready)you press Y (this would show on the bottom screen when selecting the game if a cheat is available)and well, bobs your uncle.

Heh, I showed him how to do that and posted the first all in one cheat file there and I get no love. lol

Anyway, there is a thread in this forum where we were posting all in one usrcheat.dat files.
