So hi, gbatemp community.

Let's say I know a reproducible bug in 10.1.0-27 which I suspect it's not already known, but I'm a total noob in 3ds development. Let's say I am not known enough to anyone more illiterate than me to believe me or at the very least try out those findings.

What should I do?

I put this into Homebrew development in case this thread turns interesting.
Thanks in advance.

You talking about possible exploit, If so you can share it here, or contact with someone that have the knowledge (like smea).

I already contacted the one you mention. Looks like he's not interested. (He hasn't replied at all, and there was a huge amount of info there)

Hm.. I'm actually quite interested in this! Can you message me on how to do this? I'm willing to run some tests. (Hopefully I won't brick my console! XD)

On email? I guess he's really busy. Except smea and y8 there is no more big userland exploit developers.
If you think it can lead to a kernel exploit you can contact the cfw teams or something.

This has drawn a lot of attention! I typically don't really get
That's it. I don't want this to become public before someone finds if it's useful. No to dissapoint you, but don't get excited.
True. Hopefully people won't be like, "OMG KERNAL EXPLOIT!1!1!" just because you mentioned a bug.

Yeah, I really should take out the System Config part...

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I you were in my position, what would you do?
I am really tempted to code it myself (Turns out I am a code developer, just not into 3ds scene), but I am just really busy in this time of my life to get time for this.

I would do it if I could, but I'm also way too busy to even have to code anything at all. If I were in your position, I would give it to someone you know can dig into it. If it is an exploit cool. If it's just a bug, then still pretty cool! ^_^ Either way, I say give it to a developer of CFW.

I could also yank out the rest of my teeth but theirs professionals for that
  • x65943 @ x65943:
If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
  • JuanMena @ JuanMena:
    Just kiss me Kyle.
  • x65943 @ x65943:
You either need to be intubated to bypass obstruction or create a stoma inferior to the the area of obstruction to survive
  • x65943 @ x65943:
"Just kiss me Kyle." And I thought all the godreborn gay stuff was a smear campaign

Seems like, your PSU was waiting for a partner.
  • JuanMena @ JuanMena:
    Keep them both
