Hardware Question about 3ds xl model

Just wonder if all the blue/red/black 3ds xl (older model) consoles are all compatible with gateway now? or do they all have lower firmware than 9.2? Thanks in advance.

They are all safe for gateway unless someone has updated it past 9.2.

OK...but do you think Nintendo 3DS XL Super Mario Bros. 2 Gold Edition Bundle is gateway compatible as well? And the 3ds xl I would like to buy has this serial number "SW 15276880". DO you think it has lower firmware than 9.2?

So just want to confirm mech, you mean if Nintendo 3DS XL Super Mario Bros. 2 Gold Edition Bundle is brand new and then it is surely compatible with gateway? Because I think around December, the firmware of 9.3 or 9.4 has been out. So I would like to make sure that it is gateway compatible.
