I've been wanting to try and fix the Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies undub to try and add subtitles to the cutscenes, the thing is I have not been able to decrypt my rom yet (Ok, I actually haven't tried). I want to know what kind of format they use and if there is a tool to encode in said format so I don't have to go poking around in the dark.

A lot of them usually use the .moflex format. You can't encode it into another format or even view it with any public tools right now. Others might be in the .usm format for example which is possible to encode again which was how we added subs to the Persona Q undub.

If they are in .moflex which they most likely are, you can't do anything to them unfortunately. Not until someone manages to demux that format and publishes the tools how to.

Thank you very much. If someone could confirm which format it is, it'd be cool.
