Hi guys, as the title title reads, I cannot get PSX2PSP to work AT ALL. I downloaded a new version of it, opened it up and sure as shit, it doesn't work either.

I am on Windows 11, but I cannot recall if I've ever used PSX2PSP on Windows 11. I cannot imagine that this tool does NOT work on W11, but I'm out of ideas.

Here is a screenie of the error I keep getting...

A little help would definitely be appreciated.

Ugh!!!

you need the base.pbp file
I prefer simplepopstation gui myself

I can guarantee you I've NEVER needed that file, but I'll take your word for it. Provided I find this file, where do I put it?

Thank you in advance, and thanks for getting back to me in this thread, it is much appreciated!

I will check out simplepopstation gui, thank you!

you put it where that error is saying it cant find it;the files folder near the program itself
I have always found simplepopstation gui easier to use

Omega Boost. Polyphony Digital underrated classic that nobody cared about because it wasn't Gran Turismo

Playing this with DuckStation and Lossless Scaling Frame Gen makes this a completely new game to me

I played this a while back, but no so much that I'm "totally familiar with it". Our friend Falconcrest gave me a hint and I was lucky to "run into" the base.pbp file. Worked like a charm!

Hats off to Falconcrest!!!

I'm still looking into the SimplePopStation GUI program. I found "PopStation", but I'm not sure that that's the same program...

Stay tuned, and thanks to all for replying.

I did! found a spare card and re-hacked it. just got to get this damn "you cannot earn trophies with this application" showing up for my restored games and save data....

PSX2PSP is unmaintained for a long time, better use pop-fe, as it is maintained, and has a better support to produce conversions compatible with the PSVITA
