Gaming psx game help

alright to start off I have spyro 3 on my psp and am on cfw promethius 5.50 and the game freezes on the second cutscene. now this was my second copy my first gave me the pirated copy warning. so does the issues reAlly happen at 60% or should I try to find a better copy? I have popsloader by the way.
