Definitely not, but probably more widely publicized, played, and known about. Hell, I didn't even know about Snatcher until I got into Kojima's MGS games, and even then, I didn't bother running out and getting a PSX for it (I wub my PSP

Don't. Do yourself a favor and play the SNES version instead. The PSX version of Chrono Trigger is just plodding, slow pain with loading screens at every turn.

Also, to be somewhat on-topic, the only PSX game off the top of my head (save a few shooters which no one would want to play save shmup fans like me) that has stood up decently to time is Metal Gear Solid. The rest are just not worth the time in this day and age, especially not the Square's non-Final Fantasy games (Xenogears comes to mind as being particularly horrible, going back and playing it. But then again, every game that involved Masato Kato to some extent, save Chrono Trigger, was utterly terrible).

I'm already through 4 hours in the game. The loading screens don't bother me that much. I made the disc-load times Fast, I think it made it a little faster. But it doesn't really bother me at all.

umm, my experience with PSX came mostly with emulators and i never forget the evening when CVGS worked with Tenchu 2 ... i never forget that evening.
