Quiet odd... Bought the PS3 Wireless Controller but can´t use it wirelessly...

Since both are authentic and officially compatible Sony Playstation products there has to be a way to make it work without that silly cable. Or not ?

Any other way to controll PSTV wirelessly ?

Had the same issue. Turns out the controller was an aftermarket i-e not a official controller.
Maybe that's the issue you're facing?
There are some aftermarket controllers that look exactly like a dualshock 3.

Hmm, is there any tut online for connecting the DS3 wirelessly to PSTV just to be sure I'm too dumb to get that done? Or how can I check if my controller is authentic?

So is it true: The DS3 can be connected to PSTV wirelessly? Could someone confirm this with 1st hand experience?

Yes, it can, after you paired it via cable for pairing.

Ok and you know that because you´re doing it for yourself ? What is your controller: DS3 or DS4 ?

Thanks... Well, then... I guess, my DS3 is either fake or defective... :(
