Hacking PSP Vita, which version should I get?

Get the ps vita slim, the 1000 model is overrated with the screen and thats the only argument people usually have for wanting the 1000 model over the 2000 model. The slim is better in every other way. The screen is not bad at all on the slim, and from what i read lcd screens possibly last longer then oled ones.

I prefer the 1000 anyway because I hate LCD.

I don't like the oversaturation of oled.

It isn't oversaturation, it's called wide gamut color and amazing contrast. OLED is the closest to real-life color accuracy we've reached yet.
