Ok, I can't figure it out. How do I get videos to play on my psp?

I've tried SUPER, PSP Video 9, and using the PSP preset on megui.

So far the only one that I've had success with is megui, but the quality was horrible during motion, and sound was garbled(I tried using MP3 audio since AAC audio gives error)

SUPER and PSP Video 9 tell me to place the video files into MP_ROOT/something(They do it automatically) but the PSP doesn't find my video files.

PSP slim, 3.90m33-3

you're just putting the SUPER videos in the wrong spot

try actually reading what it's telling you to do

E:\VIDEO\100MNV01

that's where all mine are(e being the drive letter of the mspd)

Exactly what I did: doesn't work. It only sees files in my /video/ folder, but super files don't work.

Anyway, I've managed to get PSP Video 9 working with a good quality so I'll use that.

^yep I use PSPVC as well. It works great. Be sure to read the installation instructions though and do everything it says. Once it's all set up it works a charm

Same as raulpica, I use XviD4PSP.
Default settings give me great video output.
Any videos with low volume quality, I just increase the audio volume by either 200% or 300%.
If there's a sync issue with the audio, I adjust the audio delay.

The 100MNV01 folder is outdated. Just put the video files directly into the "VIDEO" folder on the root of the memory stick (the folder has to be named in all caps).

Anyone use a video player to play divx/xvid natively on the PSP without converting first?

If not has anyone heard of anything?

I currently use PSP Video 9 and it works fine, I just would like to take out the extra step in my process of converting if possible.

I was under the impression that it was coming to the PSP natively, since it started working on the PS3, but apparently I was mistaken.
