I'd say both. Get the PSP Go now, and the 3DS later. When the great system sellers come out. I've got my 3DS, and honestly I don't see much appeal in the browser/eShop, however I am looking forward to LoZ which I have preordered. Just ordered a PSPGo yesterday, which should tie me over until some of the system sellers are released.

The Go is a pirate's dream. The PSP has a solid library and fantastic homebrew. I got one a few months ago and absolutely don not regret buying it. It really is a fantastic device.

Get the 3DS in a few years by then there will actually be games available for it and possibly be cheaper than it is now.

Won't pirating on the Go bids farewell to the warranty?

Just asking.

Nah, you can mostly likely flash it back to OFW. Deleting traces of installing CFW. Either way, nothing requires you to open up the go therefore breaking the warranty seal.

PSP-Go doesn't support UMDs, and most of the greater games are there. It is only really great when you go pirate.
Jesus Christ, did you even read the opening post? Do you realize what site you are on?

Anyway, I actually vote for PSP Go. If you've already played Ocarina of time, what's the point of replaying the same game with small upgrades? Heck, they didn't even bother updating the music besides adding one orchestral piece. You've already played it. Same deal with Starfox, and pretty much every Nintendo game except Kid Icarus. PSP has a fantastic list of games and quite honestly my favorite handheld of all time, even beating out the DS. It takes less than 5 minutes to switch the firmwares, and no need for any additional hardware.

not too much love for the go. well, this is gbatemp.

oh, i voted go. the first one to do so actually. after what i've read Guild's blog, i forgot about the 3ds... still need a few more money to buy one.

You expect to see love for a handheld made by SONY, (you know, that one company Nintendo fans hate with passion for "always copying their work") in a site full of ignorant Nintendo fanboys?

Not everyone here is a Nintendo fanboy.

I'd go with both, like one user said, you could buy both of them used.

I picked up a PSPGO for $100 new. There's a lot of great games for it and that's more than I can say for the 3ds. It's hacked so that's a plus. The good colors haven't come out for the 3ds yet. There's no good games and it's not hacked. I went with the go. Screw the 3ds for now. I'm not going to buy a console that's not hacked with no good games. I'll get one when the scene gets better, when it's a good value for the money.

I'm just exaggerating of course.

Though a good chunk of the community actually does think that way.

True, but not everyone does. Guild is a good example of one that doesn't

But, let's get back on topic.
