It seems that RetroArch have a PSP module. I will try to play it with for a while and report back.

EDIT: Nope, still in development. The port of PPSSPP to the Switch is a milestone on their Github, so it may come soon(ish).

I'll definitely be down for a PPSSPP emulator with NetPlay functionality (if possible) though regardless we'll probably have to wait until later next year

It's pretty hard to get a good and reliable PSP in my case, always wanted to get one just to hack it, but eh, one day maybe. For the moment I like to see how it's going for the Switch

Easy peazy you mean, the latest hackable fw is 3.68. And the latest fw is 3.69 (pretty recent fw), the 3.69 fw exploit will be launched when psvita reach full EOL Its almost 95% chance that when you buy a psvita it will be less than 3.68.
