Hacking Psp cfw infinity

my psp 3004 9g is on 6.60 pro-c3,
Which is the difference between 6.60 pro c3 and 6.61 infinity if i want to update and use permanent cfw? Does the psn work?

Infinity is an ofw, you'll still need to install the 6.61 PRO cfw on top, infinity just removes the need to redo the patch every time.
