Hardware psp black bar on screen

so my psp after many many years maybe more than 10 or so years then turning it on got this black bar.
also my psp dont have a battery anymore since it got swollen and i had to get rid of it. its now running on just the ac adapter
do display get damaged if not in used?
is there a way to fix it?
any advice? thank you

LCD looks like it has water damage since it even shows while it isn't powered on.

Replace it with a replacement China LCD or China IPS screen.
