Gaming PSP-3000 question

I want the PSP-3000 becuase the screen reminds me of HD-like. So I'm asking this question:

Which PSP official firmware for the new (not used) PSP-300 (as of October 3 2009)?

Also, where can I buy a PSP-to-TV acessory in Canada?

well I guess if you want official firmware then you can update to whatever you want(6.10 I think is the last one), but if you go higher than 5.03 then you can't opt for custom firmware
