hey guys.
not sure if this is the right section, so if it is, I'm sorry.
I let my gf borrow my psp 1000 which is was working perfectly fine.
but after couple of hours that she borrow it she calls me saying that the PSP died out of nowhere.
i try charging it but no light turns on. i try to turn it on but nothing happens.
is it brick or the battery/charger is bad?

That's not promising....are you sure she didn't drop it?

If you plug the charger in and nothing at all happens in any situation (with/without the battery) there's definitely something up with the hardware.

yea nothing happens with or without the battery.
no light turns on.

Does that mean she is telling you the truth ? She was playing lbp and then it suddenly turned off sounds fish to me, really. If she love you then you should tell her to tell you the truth.. REAL TRUTH.

it was the charger.
i just found a casio camera charger that happens to be the exactly as the one as the psp charger.
now its charging

PS. please somebody close this.
thank you for the help

Oh, I am glad that she was telling you the real truth from the beginning. Now, you know what's wrong with your psp 1000. Taking care of your psp 1000 and have fun!

yea probably she blew the charger cause the day she was playing with it, there was lightnings and a black out for a sec.
