As you may know that all games downloaded from the PSN comes in PBP format but that's not the problem the problem is that they comes with license (rif file) and without it we can use them cuz the PSP will say that is Protected (at least full games). You can't have the license without buying the game or by SHARING THEM (This is the purpose of this thread) But because none has tried it and I can't try it by myself cuz I only has a PSPgo don't know if this work. That's why I'm asking to you to try this, I'll provide you with the License of God of War Chain of Olympus and RockBand Unplugged (from US PSN) but since I can't post links on the forums cuz it' against the rules you just has to post a comment telling me that you'll try it and I'll send you a PM with the link and after you have tried, post results here:

PSP Version
PSP FIRMWARE(Original or Custom)
And if it worked or not

And maybe with this we can share our Licenses (I'm Really looking foward to Little Big Planet's one) and have free PSP/PSN games(IF IT WORK)

PS: Remember in order to the License work you'll need the EBOOT.PBP & DOCUMENT.DAT of each game. GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND

If this could happen, it would of already been done.
Besides, there is no hackers on here, try GEN's site.

But we could try it and we don't need hackers for this
and GEN's Forums are in other language

That's why Google Translate comes in handy.
The forums are in English i believe

QUOTE(Jamstruth @ Dec 26 2009, 03:13 AM) Yes share a license probably coded to your specific PSP/PSN Account. More likely your PSP.
true. it cant be that simple, coz its just like a software package with serial number included; not safe at all, especially if we can get a copy of the whole package

but i wonder if people could find out the algorithm used to generate the license, then they probably can make some sort of keygen to provide specific license for each PSP; or even better, if they know how to fake the license itself to "think" its on the legit PSP. just wondering though, i know its not that easy...

Private Key. Each key is for 1 PSP and the only way to figure it out is to use a brute force attack which could take years.

Well actually Datel found the encryption as it seems
http://wololo.net/wagic/2009/12/24/confirm...-for-christmas/
so they can sign there Action Replay app to run on EVERY PSP but you can be sure that they don´t release the informations to the public and i think that actually this still don´t help to play PSN games on every PSP dunno for sure.

Then sorry for this n00b thread

and looks like our only hope is to find how datel signed that eboot
btw the AR work on my PSP go 6.20

EDIT

I still has the licenses if someone want to try it to be 100% sure the it doesn't work

No, you don't need a brute force attack, though it would take years without a quantum computer. For RSA you can use methods like the Number Field Sieve. Of course, you could just take the easy way out with rubber hose cryptanalysis (kidnap someone from Sony who knows the key and beat them until they give it to you).

To put it simple, it will not work and this has been tried so many times already.
I've tried it months ago by copying my act.dat from my activated 2000 to my unactivated 3000 using ChickHEN/GEN in flash2 & copying a few Rock Band Unplugged DLC plus PSN Games but none of them would run.

So far the only way to get them to work is to activate the PSP under the account with the games.
