think for a second.. you can ftp the installed files off the ps5 to a pc and if he breaks the disc he just ftps the files back to ps5... then uses this fake usb launch method.. but its not a backup??

Obviously he meant back up the files on the PS5, delet them off the PS5 and restore them without a disc.

Are you saying that you know for a fact that what this will work? Or are you guessing?

I mean it's possible, but we don't have full access to the PS5 so there are many tricks Sony could have pulled.

I think it was crossed wires, something lost in translation, a simple misunderstanding.
