Picked up this console as a system to practice doing Bga repair on, but was hoping to start by getting it to fully booting again.

UART shows an unlisted error code (80800027). Initially the console was booting to a ps5 logo and then a black screen. Tried to reinstall software from a usb key, and it powers off partway through the process. Sometimes it’ll fail with an error “update file is corrupted”. Tried with multiple download attempts on different usb keys no change.

I’m suspecting either a bad ssd controller, bad nand, or bad ram. Any suggestions on what to start with?
