PS5 FW 12.70 Jailbreak Tutorial

Since text tutorials are apparently dead, we are all supposed to watch 3 different YouTube videos weeks apart to figure out what to do, and this is still cutting edge stuff, I figured I’d put together a tutorial on how I’m successfully Jailbreaking my PS5 on 12.70 FW. I’ve been:

• Watching Netflix (the one for NetflixNHax). Somehow the PS5 installed the latest update for this Netflix pkg while Jailbroken and it made it work.
• Watching Youtube (No-PSN PKG). Didn’t let any updates get applied to this one as it works fine.
• Playing Neir: Automata (PS4 backup .pkg).
• Playing Pragmata (PS5 backup, game folder dump).
• Running homebrew (PS5 XPlorer .pkg).

Glad to read I'm not the only one who prefers written guides over videos, thanks for sharing!
I understood exploitable Lua game were not needed anymore and that we can use instead Y2JB, P2JB and BD2JB for 12.XX. Am I correct?

Glad you enjoy it. Be the change I say. Y2JB only works up to 12.40 AFAIK. We can now use BD-UN-JB on 12.70, but still it's using the same P2JB exploit the guide does with the LUA game (so no real time savings, the advantage would be the ability of using an auto-loader I think but haven't looked into it too much), and alas I do not have a blu ray burner (yet, I do plan on getting one in time).
