ps4 stuck in safemode

i was given a ps4 pro that seems to be stuck in safemode no matter what i try i replaced the drive with a new ssd and every image and usb drive i try keeps giving me update corrupt error message. Any ideas would be helpful

are you using the recovery update or the regular one? you need to use the recovery update when you change drives or after a format.
