Hacking PS4 + PSvr question

i already have untouched PS4 on 3.55 and there’s a good price on VR bundle with Skyrim/Doom/GT is going on EBay is it possible to use it and which update I’ve should be on?

You need 4.55 and below on console to run HEN.

You can then spoof the version for VR to run.

VR works on 4.55 just fine. But you need to spoof it.

You cannot rip any games higher than 4.55.

Last question any benefits from updating it to 4.05 instead of 4.55, reading mixed messages here about 4.05 being more stable
and i believe VR isn't supported on 4.05 unless there's a way

Imho there is no benefit in staying on 4.05, might as well be as uptodate as possible. I'm not sure about the VR on 4.05 thing but 4.55 definitely works.
