still little new to the ps4 scene but kept track of it...
Since today the 4.55 Kernel Exploit got released and last year the webkit exploit also,
So what exactly am i waiting for?

I read that the 4.06 and 40.7 can still be hacked trough webkit exploit.

Correct me if i am wrong...

Qwertyuiop released the kernel side for up to 4.55, no userland exploit to trigger it.

Alexzzz9 released the 5.x userland websploit.

We need the two to be linked together and stay stable before we can do anything useful.

OK, but the way i read it shouldnt be too long.
After the news today i ran to the toys r us nad picked a pro up since i know they would have low FW since nobody here in my town buys consoles there.
(Also got my 360 Jtagable back in the days there too)
I was hoping for a 4.05 but 4.07 is better than a 5.x i guess.

Thats old info.

Userland = webkit exploit (in this example)
Kernel = beyond webkit code exec

Today we have webkit for 5.x poc = userland, and up to 4.55 kernel.

Once webkit works for 4.06-4.55 this will be useful for up to 4.55.

5.x webkit release is an entry point, not full solution....yet

Webkit currently working is good up to 4.07, now with qwertyuiops 4.55 solution for kern its looking promising for a quick release.

Userland for 5.x is there, its Kernel we need on 5.x now to have 5 blown open.

So basically i got lucky on the 4.07.
