Hacking PS3_EXTRA

Backed up a game disc thay has a ton of demos and crap amounting to 10GB, all located within the PS3_EXTRA folder. Ultimately want to convert to .iso, can I simply delete this directory or will it brake something. Or, is it better to just replace package names with blank files?

You should be able to delete those files just like how you can delete the ps3 update files when converting to ISO.

Yes there is a chance though a blank icon might appear under the game launch disc icon.
