This CFW is installed directly into the NAND has been tested in different models of console (FAT and Slim, reported in the main post) and without any brickeo or similar problem.

The testers have reported a high stability in the CFW and the same compatibility with games that could be obtained with different dongles.

The main core of the payload is based on Hermes, also has some features of PL3 and supplementary code and improved by Waninkoko.

Attempted to create an application that enable / disable the payload, so that after leaving a manager backup Blu-ray was functional. After some testing has not been able to be operational, it would be desirable for the various backups managers were in charge of implementing such functionality or may be added in a later CFW.

Installed.. works well.
v1 bricks because of a fail in failoverflow's tools..

Fail0verflows dev tools, that he wouldn't have been able to do this without, and then tried to pass the buck for his mistake by declaring there is a bug but not releasing any info or even the 2 character patch. He should have picked up on it in testing.

EDIT: Dev tools that were released as incomplete works in progress known to be buggy to boot.
EDIT the 2nd: And while he knew they were not working on them or had been working on them since not very long after the initial release due to trying to be extra safe due to the current legal action.

I'm pretty sure when he released v1 he said himself can cause bricks. He also said try at your own risk meaning it isn't his fault if someone is stupid enough to not read that it can brick your ps3.

Yes, he said it would brick slims. A while after release. And I argued that point myself. But if it's the fault of any dev it's him, and trying to pass on the blame like that was cowardly.

Can this be installed just... like it is?

Meaning no jailbreak needed?

Just download the OFW, patch it, and install it = success?
