PS1/2 PS3 troubles.

My PS3 seems to be fucked. Whenever I load up a game, it goes up to the menu, but whenever something has to load, it just freezes. For example, in Blazblue, When it says "now loading" at the bottom, it doesn't do anything. It just says that, and never does anything more. Same goes for Tekken 6. Just hangs there.

It's over a year old, and I have no warrenty on it anymore. Any suggestions would be appreciated.


I also heard that I can get it repaired by Sony, but it'll cost 150 dollars. Ouch. Well, if I can't get it fixed, I'll just have to fork out another 340 bucks out of my wallet.

EDIT: Oh, and they said the PS3 couldn't die

Of course the PS3 can die, just like any other console, just the probability rate on the PS3 compared to the 360 is lower, as for your problem, sounds like something maybe to do with your laser

My PS3 has been outside in my backyard for 2 months, and it still plays fine.

On topic, give your PS3 a proper burial please.
