I have a PS3 Slim 2504A that exhibited extreme overheating on the CPU, so i changed the thermal paste (Arctic MX-4) tonight and it still shows the exact same characteristics.
Right after turning on the temperatures slowly begin to climb and when in game it quickly reaches the thermal threshold and the fans begin going absolutely crazy. The Fans soon go to 100% and still the heat can not be contained.
What could this be?
