So I got a SATA 2.5 Drive to USB Adapter so I can do fast and easy transfers from my PC to the System without either using the limited space you can transfer with via USB or the insane transfer times over FTP. I also want to be able to do this because I'm planning on getting a new SSD for the system and want to just directly transfer everything over. Is there any program or something that would allow me to accomplish this?

At this time, no. The HDD itself is encrypted, so it can't be read without the encryption key dumped from your console. You could pull this from your console if it's on CFW...

...but then the HDD doesn't use GPT or MBR for the partition table, and it uses a file system Windows doesn't support (UFS IIRC), so even if you did get that key only something like a Linux distro would be able to read it.

Your best bet is to simply transfer with FTP, you should be able to get at least 20mbps out of the PS3 via ethernet which should be fine enough for most things.
