PS1/2 PS3 hack limitations

I've been surfing the web and found what's called a "switch mod"
It can boot up PS1/2 games from different region (not really interesting unless you've collected hundreds of games from various regions for your-now-sold-region-free-PS2)

But an interesting thing is, you can dump PS3 games onto PS3 HDD using this mod.
The problem is, PS3 HDD uses FAT32, and if you've ever tried to mess up with DVD images on FAT32, you know it can only handle files that are

The easiest solution would be to simply have it copy the bd-dvd in (0x100000000 - 1 [4294967295] byte) chunks.
As for an iso loader, switching between blocks shouldn't be that inefficient.

Someone told me that the fily system on PS3 HDD is called cellfs, have no clue what it is.
Well on second thought, since HDD access should be faster than BD, I guess ISO loader would have no problem even with chunks.
