So i've been debating with myself to get a Vita or a hacked PS3 so before buying any of them i would like to make a list of games each console has starting with PS3. So far i found:

PS3 has got such a huge and great library. If you don't mind playing "old" games you should get a cfw PS3.

I dunno if you'd like them but I rather like Infamous 2 and the Ratchet & Clank games (Crack in Time, the HD trilogy). There's also Demon's Souls but I'm not a big fan of that. Also, Hard Corps: Uprising is a great PSN game which is basically Contra but with Blazblue-style graphics.
If you want JRPGs though, I guess you could try Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory? I haven't played it myself so I dunno how good it is. I don't know others that aren't already on that list but I'm sure there are more.

Tales of Xillia 2 and Zesteria are coming soon-ish so there's another 2 RPGs for ya.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 and Victory are alright, lots of fanservice though. Skip the original "Hyperdimension Neptunia" though, the mechanics are garbage and have been greatly improved in the sequels. (and the story of the first game has been retconned anyway, so the new ones are in an "alternate world" that became the main one)

Naruto is garbage but the games are really fun (to me at least) and the new one comes out this september with something like a 100+ roster of fighters.

And don't forget Disgaea D2, it's a sequel of Disgaea 1 with Laharl and friends.

I know that there's Little Big Planet but anything else? Doesn't need to be a platformer could be a action game too(would rather).

If you use a very funny definition of the term RPG you could count Grand Theft Auto 5 as one.

In the RPG realm it's not nearly as good as Chrono Trigger, but it has something other RPG games don't. If you ignore the missions and just make up your own back story it can be fun. (I like to pretend I am a sociopath who recently discovered a new type of crystal meth and LSD combo, in doing so I am now insane and must attack everyone I see...)

For local multiplayer on the PS3 hmmm I would say Mortal Kombat with the Freddy Krugar DLC is pretty fun or Tekken Tag 2 is ok.... (I like Tekken Tag 1 better)

You may look into PS1 games for local multi player, there was a lot more of them back then as no network connection (well Link thingy for 2 players but I only ever used it for Doom.)

If you have a BC PS3 that gives you more options for some local multi fun too, if it's not BC you can look into PS2 ports to the PS3 they did a lot of them. (Dragon Quest VIII would be my number 1 pick for PS2 RPG's)

Edit: I wish some one would make a Grand Theft Auto 5 mod called "Bath Salts Zombie" where you get some cash go buy the stuff and the screen gets all blurry and when you attack people you can kinda eat them a little... lol (Yeah I know the guy was just insane and wasn't really on bath salts but damn.... that's like some horror movie shit right there.)

as for dragons crown well i loved odin sphere and muramasa but the character designs look alittle off putting for me
