Hacking PS3 Disc ID

I understand when moving backups to an external a folder with the GAMEID is needed. What happens if the source of the backup only contains the folder name of the game itself and not the ID.

Is there any way of getting the ID of the game if it is not known?

you don't need to have folder named with the game ID, rename it to whatever you like
