The official RCA cable works perfectly as usual, but I can't get the component cable that I bought for it. I plugged each color to each port and nothing, am I doing something wrong?

Also, the "PS2 to HDMI" adapter won't display an image either. It seems it requires energy via the Mini USB cable which I plugged to the PS2 itself, a Media Player box, PC and none worked.

I want to believe they're working, but somehow I can't get them to function properly. And I don't know why. Should be pretty straightforward.

You have to set the output to YPbPR mode beforehand (as mentioned in the manual) on the PS2.

this is for both btw

Thank you so much! The PS2 HDMI adapter still doesn't work.

Do I have to connect it to the AC?

it honestly should work via ps2s usb power

wouldnt recommend it though the ps2 can do 1080i via component in games like gran turismo 4
the hdmi converter doesnt support higher than 480/576p

I wouldn't use it for myself, but I'd just like to see it working. I'll keep trying till it shows up.

By the way, PS2 via Component Cable looks shockingly better!

yeah component should be sharper with better colours

svideo would look better but thats mainly because how sharp it forces it to be which is why its good for crts
