PS1/2 PS2, no audio

[Devil May Cry]

This was awhile ago, but when I had my cousin come over I let her play some GTA. However, she accidentally knocked the power plug out of the socket. There was a loud popping noise and when I started it up again, there was no audio. Sometimes if I put the TV to max volume, I can slightly hear it in fragments. I'm guessing a fuse blew and was wondering which it was, so I know what I'm looking for. This will be my first time disassembling a PS2 before (I've only worked on controllers for it). Thanks.

tried what a composite yellow red and white connector or a ps1/ps2/ps3 to Scart/Péritel connector?

got any other games consoles that connect by the same connection type ie Wii etc to eliminate faulty connection to the TV (If its composite eliminate any damage to the sockets)

did the pop come from the PS2 or the TV speakers?

does the PS2 smell like burnt electrical or burnt plastic? if somethings blown it distinct electrical burnt smell to it

have you opened it up to have a look?

Sounds like your PS2 got messed up. Best to take it to the shop for repairs, they might have to change some internal components like the PS2 soundcard (if there is one that is)

I've used the cords for other things now, so I know it's the PS2 that screwed up. The popping sound came from the PS2. I have opened it to the board, but I don't know what to look for. That's why I want to know where the sound fuse or card is.

I prefer to fix things on my own. I just don't know where the problem occurred.
