Hacking Ps2 iso mods

I noticed with multman it does not run ps2 iso mods for example I edited the textures in dbz budokai 3 when I load the game it says ps2 format disk with a blue color instead of the normal color and when i launch the game it freezes on a black screen after the ps2 logo is there anyway around this? maybe converting my ps3 from rex to dex would allow me to play it?

Did you test your iso on a ps2 or ps2 emulator first?

it works fine on pcsx2 pc emulator but not on my cfw ps3 with multiman

have you tried installing the ps2 place holder? might do the trick.
