[PS2] getting a MX4SIO today a few questioons

so i bit the bullet and bought aa MX4SIO adapter yesterday via amazon and will be delllivered today,, I already havea freemcboot mc and i loaded OPL 1.1.0 on iit can i store apps on the sdcard as well? and is it compatablle with the codebreakker v10 elf file likke how hdd is?, also what is the compat rate of MX4SIO? thanks

I'm not entirely sure, but afaik, you can't store apps on it. it's not even detected by the system except through opl afaik.

my mx 4 seems defective won't detect in opl (assuming the file structure is the same as USB loading though both the power and read light (flashing) are visable

it's very finicky. what does your structure look like? I think it's the same as an hdd, but I've never used an hdd. it's also sd card dependent, which is most likely the problem.
