i was just wondering since downloading ps2 games threw torrents is so freaking slow could somebody tell me the best way to download them or another way atleast

Or buy them since sales on PS2 games these days mean you can get a heap of good games really cheap.

well i find this one site where you can download them from rapidshare and megaupload but their split into hella parts

Use Megaupload and only download after 6PM Pacific time. They give you "happy hour premium" where you get 3 hours of free premium to download as much as you want! (You need to have a free account and the plugin, but it's a small price to pay for 3 hours of unlimited downloads) Just set the parts to download all at once (Or most at once) and play your DS for awhile, worked great with me and PSP ISOs.

I rent them and then back them up usually. I also use rapidshare/megaupload links for the harder to find ones.

Don't PS2 games have any protection? You just pay monthly for Gamefly and order as many times you want, so I guess you can try that.

Have you set up your torrent client correctly? Forwarded the ports etc?

im having the same problem i just a swap magic today and i cant download iso for hell its so slow my speeds are horrible but my computer is normally fast.

Yeah you can get PS2 games off edonkey, however use eMule instead. There are heaps of PS2 games on eMule, but they won't necessarily download any faster than a torrent.

you could just browse the ps2 image groups manually on usenet

or use google to look for ps2 nzb site

ps2 games are dirt cheap, where i live, most games are 5-20 dollars, 20 dollars being the high end titles, like kingdom hearts 2.

GameFly is really expensive 17USD per month, you can get good PS2 games for that price, hell, maybe more than just one, used, on GameStop or eBay.
