After searching a little, I found sometihng I saw some years ago, long before aquiring my psp.
What I found is the PSP2TV, some gadget you put your psp in and you can plug any ps2 controler on it, and even play it on any kind of tv.

Question is: is this safe, and functional? Is there any other way to put a PS2 controller on a psp?

I just got curious about this because of Pump it Up and the PSPRevolution Homebrew - Keep the psp safe and far from you, look at the tv and play on a dance pad, ANYWHERE I WANT? please, this has to be real!!!

I'd ask you to explain, but I'm sure this is not the answer I'm looking for... u.u

Unless PS3 has wireless controllers like Xbox and Wii, and it can be picked up in wifi by PSP... *I'm making this up, I have no Idea what I'm talking about*

Yes you can technically have your PSP display to TV, though last I knew it required a hard to find cable, which was quite expensive.
Also, PSP can be displayed on TVs through the use of a PS3.

How? Me and my brother searched and couldn't find this functionality via remote-play

Which exactly is this cable? I've been looking for a composite cable (since I have a CRT TV) but everywhere I look it says that cable can't output images from games and it says so in the PSP manual too.

I meant for PSP2000.
So the cable descriptions I saw on some sites and the manual for the PSP2000 states that composite cables can't output games. But I've also seen people who said they've done it. So I wonder if there's any special cable I need to look for...

Using original PS's video output, you need TV with progressive scan to enable game video output (need component cable), but you can stil set it to interlace and output XMB display output and pops game (PSone classic), this can be done with component or composite cable (i suggest component if your CRT have component input)

you can also output video using plugins (Fusa_SD), this plugin enabled video output on normal PSP game on SDTV and CRT

The info spinned off a little from what I asked, but good to see info on how to make the psp display on various kinds of screens...

THe thing is, what about controllers? I'm just asking this because I got curious about pluging a dancepad in it, and putting the dance games on tv [because, it's not really THAT interesting when you can only use your hands, right? ;p]
