Homebrew ps2 controller don't want to work on nintendont

i have everything....nintendont,a game and the ps2 controller .And i did the controller.ini file and everything !!! but when i launch the game ( zelda the wind waker ) , my ps2 controller won't do anything !! why ???
i'll be thankfull for any help

did you turned Hid to ON on the setings?

you said you did the controller ini stuff what adapter are you using? you should download controllers zip inside nintendont and try again becuase you might have done something wrong on the controller.ini you made.

maybe we dont have a controller ini for that specifiw adapter we have some but we might not have that one you need to use hid test and make your own controller.ini if it doesnt exist try to seek help on the thread called nintendont controllers.
