PS1/2 PS1 Game not working on OPL

So I happened to have Crash Bandicoot: Cortex Strikes Back on my PS2 HDD for my Open PS2 Loader. I tried to rename, delete, and open up my game, which doesn't seem to work. Is there anything I'm not getting at?

Are you using a POPS method or trying to run just an ordinary ISO?

In case you don’t know, the PS2 cannot run PS1 games from the HDD via it’s BC mode due hardware limitations, instead it has to be done via emulation (POPS being Sony’s official emulator).
